I was not aware that Campagnolo 'Ragno' wheels were made for just about any car in Europe and in a zillion dimensions. Well, as great luck would have it, I just picked up every BMW 2002 owner's dream, our very own Ragno (spider). Will fit under any stock fender, so just perfect. A very dear friend was extremely generous in parting with his set for my project back home. I am extremely grateful, as they are not often available. Hope you like them! Is the color the same on Dino 'Ragno' wheels? Cromodora (probably not)? These are virgins, well almost, as one tire fitting only. Never seen the sun on the inside part of the wheel. I can get a sample if is suitable for other cars, as I assume Campagnolo used the same paint formula. Regards, Alberto
Hi i don't mean to be a kill joy but i think a BMW 2002 fits 13" wheels https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/bmw/2002.html so you might find it difficult getting a tall enough tyre for a Dino
No Killjoy...they' re for a BMW 2002, will go on a 2002, and with 4 bolt holes, 13 inch, you'd have to be Mandrake to make them fit on a Dino. Thank you for the observation nonetheless... Regards, Alberto
BMW bottle cap 14" alloys (like on a 325) will also fit with 185/60s - at least they fit with no issues on both of my 1972 2002tiis, but the Campys look GREAT!! I wish I had known about them when I had my 2002tiis. My first tii came with REAL Magnesium Minilites - they were the lightest wheels I have ever seen - but they had one big problem - they leaked completely flat every 3 days - it didn't matter what we tried - coating the insides, painting with Deltron and every other kind of paint or coating inside and out. They were just too damned porous - but they looked great. We thought about using inner tubes, but those are a compromise and pretty much defeat the purpose of mag wheels in the first place.
Is the color the same on Dino 'Ragno' wheels? Does the actual one look right? I have nothing to compare to. These are virgins, well almost, as one tire fitting only. Never seen the sun on the inside part of the wheel. I can get a sample if is suitable for other cars, as I assume Campagnolo used the same paint formula on all 'silver wheels' ? Regards, Alberto
I am a little confused by your current post. Are they for sale? Or do have a line on another set? If so, PM me please!!
This ^ ought to clarify... Your questions: Not for sale ever, at any $, and it has taken me 15 years to find the ones in the pix. On my old 2002 I had the same wheels, but in 7". Gone with car. An original ALPINA, with extended steel fenders . Used to wear BF Goodrich latest, as the widest possible tyre in 13". Sigh. Have tried finding the car a few years back. Still have a spare 'folding key'. Might put a 'wanted ad' in the 2002 site. Good luck! Still need someone to comment on the color. Regards, Alberto
How about these bad boys https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/michelin-classic-tyres/tb5/20-53-13-michelin-tb5f.html oo they are cool aren't they (they also do it fully treaded) Image Unavailable, Please Login there should be more on here https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/bmw/2002.html however i have just noticed a few thatt are missing in the 185/70VR13 size. there is a Michelin XDX credit due to them for such an imaginative price https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/tyres/165-13/185-70vr13-michelin-xdx.html hmm don't actually sell many of those except to the Renault Alpine boys. Image Unavailable, Please Login then we do also have a 185/70VR13 Cinturato CN36 https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/tyres/165-13/185-70vr13-pirelli-cinturato-cn36.html it wouldn't surprise me if these were a period option. Dougal, Thank you for the envoy. The project is far from finishing, possibly next year. The CN36 were period option. Regards, Alberto
