    I need to send my speedo out for inspection/repair but PAS' lead is 10 days, + shipping time. I can't bear to cage the beast for two weeks; anyone know if it's ok to drive w.out the speedo?

    I don't see why not. Only be careful of your speed, the cops won't care that it isn't there.

    I don't see why not either :confused: And it doesn't matter if it's out or not; damn thing doesn't work anyway so why not send it out right?! :D For now I'll just drop the GPS in and use it as a rough speedo.

    Sure, and use your Tach as your speedo.

    You should know by now how many RPM=MPH in each gear.

    If your tach is correst (an issue with 328's) then 3K in 5th is about 60.

    Why not try it and see? I had an XKE that wouldn't start with the tach removed.
