Sorry, but I just bought a house, I hada sell my trailer. I have other things that are more important. I race at Englishtown all the time, all the courses. If you'd like your ass handed to you meet me there. But I'm sure your afraid to get you ass handed to you.
if his gallardo beat the Z06 from a roll to 140mph, then id say yes the 430 is faster, who cares if the vette is faster at ur local domestic drag strip, in real world situations, both gallardo and 430 are slightly faster.

CGT 7:32 (actaul production car) Z06 7:43 (pre-production TEST car, NOT production car) if that is ture, than i'm so wrong but who knows it's ture....but go to nearst Barns and Nobles and check out this month Car magazine( not stupid american Car magazine, but european). thay have the article about the new C6 Z06 and said it will beat any production Ferraris or Porsches...i'm not making this up guys just go check it out.....

My partner just took delivery of his 06. He also had a vette in 2003. Still is the same POS, only uglier. "Oh yeah I really like your car." P.S. Nice fckn interior.
It looks like this thread has deteriorated. One thing the Z06 has going for it, it's a very fast daily driver! Michael

One thing I've noticed about this thread which sort of irks me is quite a few of you rag on the vettes interior. And although, it is a GM interior and isn't great, are you really getting the car for its interior? I mean, since when has the interior really mattered in a performance car? Just my 2 cents.
it is true the vette have trash interior...infact what American car doesn't? i have a friend who drives c5 Z06 with supercharger...one extream fast car...but still sorry interior...he even turns on AC during winter time because engine gets too hot and all the heat comes into the cabin.....but when it comes to the performance, i think Z06 is bang for the buck...it's ugly, terrable built quality, stupid resale value, trash interior, but one heck of a fast car.
That is the whole point. It is going to make a great second car and a seriously fast daily driver. For $70K you can drive the wheels off of it and not even care. I personally would not do that with a 430 or an Enzo as I am sure most people wouldn't. Thats why I just thinks its plain stupid to buy a car like that. What good is it if it just sits in the garage. Now thats not to say that some of the people here drive them but lets face it most don't. Most own them as trophys or there wouldn't be so many low milage cars out there. I have already put more miles on my 348 than all the previous owners. That is because I don't care what it is going to be worth when I'm done with it. It didn't cost that much to begin with so I can feel free to put as many miles on it as I want. I am sure there are plenty of people out there that feel comfortable doing that with a 430 but I am not one of them.
