Just about to place an order for my 458. Play golf regularly so if the 458 spider can really fit a full size golf bag that would be perfect. Thank you.

Only if you place it on or behind the passenger seat, it does not fit in the boot. I never use my Italia to go to the golf course.

You'll have no other car to take the clubs in? Really? Skip an option on the 458 like
the iPod connector or something and buy a nice used Range Rover for your trips to the links.

I have yet to take delivery of my Spider but based on close inspection of an Italia you will be lucky to get a light weight carry bag behind the seats. I want to bring along my bag as well but since I ordered the carbon fiber racing seats I would be concerned about scratching the back of the seats.

Definitely a California, I have a Scud but no golf clubs, thinkin' a club bag is too tall, unless you get a spider and have it ride shotgun.

Join a nice golf club. Leave your clubs there. Your clubs will be out, cleaned and ready for your tee time. Or call them if you are using the driving range. Problem solved.

(A small bag will fit behind the passenger seat in a 360 Spider.)

I have a 458 coupe and the only way is to take the clubs out of the bag first then put clubs and bag in the boot. It's not ideal but it does work.

You can order a Ferrari golf bag from the options list for about $8000 CAD. I'm pretty sure it would have to fit.

It fits behind the 2 seats. There's a shelf back there just for luggage or a golf bag (this is unique to the Spider as the Coupe does not have this space). Now, what I don't know is if a regular bag or only the custom Ferrari one fits there. I'm not a golfer so I'm the wrong guy to ask to try it.

    BTW:

This thread title could be labeled. "Problems of the 1%-ers". :)

90%+ I play at my own club. Guests would rather play there as well.

If you can afford a new 458 Spider you can afford to belong to a club. Lots more fun than playing at public courses for lots of reasons.

I have a light weight bag as it is easier to carry. Walking is a great way to play (get some exercise and walk directly to your ball) and playing with a caddy is the very best.

My bag fits nicely behind the seats of my 360 Spider.

Put all woods and hybrids behind the seats.

Place bag on passenger side floor leaning against the passenger seat cushion.

    I'm enjoying reading this thread!

My 330 2+2 could have swallowed 3 golf bags in its trunk.

A 308 can easily take a huge golf bag behind the engine.

It seems that as the cars get more modern, they can accommodate less.

    But perform more.

Thanks for all comments. I enjoy playing good golf courses here in Thailand. Being able to be there in my 458 is so tempt despite need to spend a bit more to get a spider. Only if someone can confirm that the spider can fit a regular golf bag as quoted. Thank you.

Just take the SUV fellas to golf it looks silly when I see people pull up to the club and i see them take drivers and hybrids from a separate compartment from your bag in a 2 seater sports car with no trunk space.

It looks like you are trying very hard to take your Ferrari to the club despite how impractical it is to transport your clubs conveniently.

Almost like your going out of your way to show it off.

    Just my $.02

I'm not trying to start something here...

I've belonged to a nice private club for nearly 20 years. Yet my wife and I happend to also play a lot of other clubs and places during the summer and I also I play competitive golf in two states which means I need to travel.

All I'm saying is a person needing to be able to travel with clubs and/or luggage in "pleasure" vehicle can be a big factor in deciding what to buy.

BTW, I've strapped my clubs to my back and taken them on my harley....:)

I have a much lesser sports car than a Ferrari, but after driving the sedan all week, a top-down blast to the golf course on the weekend is a lot more fun than another trip in the sedan. It's obviously not the only criteria in a sports car, but it's a great bonus if you can combine hobbies.

I completely agree. While I am a member at a private course, some of my friends and clienits are as well...but, they are at different clubs. I play three times a week and when weather permits placing my clubs in behind my seats would be a big plus.

For those that say get another car to play golf, why...when are you to drive your Ferrari? I enjoy driving my Ferrari or Porsche to my club because the roads to the clubs in my area are great to drive. I have a new Mercedes ML 63, amazing truck that would hold 4 golf bags but I would rather drive my sports cars.

Seems everyones situation is different according to where they live.

Isn't that a little overdramatic? If you can't find time to drive the Ferrari other than to the golf club, perhaps play a little less golf?

I don't think it's wrong or showing off to drive the Ferrari to the golf club. But I never do, I'd rather take something more practical and not worry about the grass stains. And I can't drive the Ferrari as it is intended with clubs in there anyway. Much rather take the F out on its own for some dedicated driving time on a separate occasion (like early in the morning before tee-off).

I will have a chance to try to put my golf bag into a 458 spider this weekend. Will update the result after that.
