I am about to pull the dash in my '94 512TR to change a few things and replace the AC expansion valve. The thin portion of the dash over the radio door is warped (I presume from heat- it was originally a Miami car). Can carefully applied heat un-warp it? I have a replacement to go in its place, so I would not mind experimenting and possibly recovering the piece. Also, was the top edge of the dash on the 512TR straight across the top of the glovebox and radio area? Even the replacement seems a bit raised over the glovebox, yet the leather is supple as a baby's behind.
I will post some photos tomorrow.

My 91 TR is in the same shape, the pieces above the a/c vents and the glovebox door are both warped. I just ordered new parts.
