    Hi everyone,

    I'm thinking about moving up to the FF as a daily driver and yes believe it or not a family hauler (don't laugh :)

    I'm used to stiff cars ( don't ask what my current daily is ) but I'm concerned about throwing the family in there over the crappy roads I have.

    Was hoping someone here could compare the ride quality to another car you have experience with ? I find comparisons like this much more useful then reviews which of course say amazing it is but this kind of thing is too subjective.

    Thank you!!

    The FF felt smoother then my 911 Turbo S. I used it as an every other daily. It was perfect.

    In comfort suspension setting, it's;

    As comfortable as a BMW 4 series M sport coupe.
    More comfortable than an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
    Less comfortable than a Ferrari F355.

    We are spoiled with very smooth tarmac in The Netherlands so bad roads aren't a problem - but I have always been amazed at how compliant the F355's suspension is. I'm guessing that 18 inch rims and a 40 profile tyre combined with a low centre of gravity and a 1,500kg weight are going to give it a head start over the FF's higher centre of mass and weight (1,900kg) riding 35 profile tyres on 20 inch rims. The only things going in the FF's favour are the longer wheelbase and trick dampers.

    As comfortable as W212 AMG in softest suspension setting, and way more comfortable than same AMG in stiffest setting (Tires 255/40-18, 285/35-18). Love the feel of magneride way more than airmatic.

    Definitely would love to have smaller rims with higher profile tyre. 18" rims with 40 profile is great!

    I just purchased a 2015 FF to replace my Alpina B7. The FF is obviously way more car, however, to answer your question I find the FF suspension in comfort perfect for daily driving and not quite as soft as a big AMG sedan or the B7. The FF will be my daily driver and I'm hoping the Fchat comments supporting this role prove to be correct. My boys fit well in the back seats and at 6'4" I fit well up front. My wife loves the FF. Throwing kids and gear in the FF works. I pick my kids up from practice, school etc. and a 61 cm road bike fits in the back with the rear seats down. I hope you buy a FF so there are more of us out there daily driving them.
