Hi, I run a web site called ExoticSpotter.com and I'm trying to identify the make and model of a car that was submitted today. The person who took the photo doesn't know what it is either. The picture was taken in France. Can anyone identify this car? Image Unavailable, Please Login
cool. thanks guys. I knew somebody here would figure it out. I did some research and it looks like only 5 of them were ever produced. What do you guys think, does this car deserve to be labeled as "exotic"?
Seems like it to me, very exotic if there are only 5! Keep up the site, it's looking good, have you updated it recently??
IMO you guys at exoticspotter should be stricter on what you put on your website. I mean, A lotus elise? A acura NSX? Those aren't exotics...at all. I see tons of them everyday. The site is good with cars like F40's and McLaren's on there, but an NSX, come on.....Just my $0.02 Nice lookin website tho.
Yeah, you and I may see those all the time, but there are many people out there who, for them, and NSX or Elise may be as exotic as they come. And come on, tons everyday? These are really cool cars, and in fairly limited production. Now, if he had a Prowler section... I'd be with you 100%
i have never seen a lotus elise in my whole life and only a few nsx's Those are exotic in ohio at least ... even in the cities, we're not all hillbillies lol
When I think of exotic cars, the NSX definitely does not come to mind. However, I still hardly see them around. Every now and then, and thats it. I also have never seen an Elise in person. Edit: That car is NASTY looking. Could it sit any higher? I hope these aren't worth anything.
Thanks. I'll be adding about 100 photos on Sunday. When you go to the homepage, it will tell you when the last update was. Just look at the top-right hand navigation.
"Started in 1983, the French Axiam Group started producing two and four wheel vehicles that could be driven without a license. This production evolved into the micro-car market and, in 1992, a motor sport program was started under the new Mega name. The first production road car produced by Mega was the Track. It used the Mercedes V12, delivering 394 horsepower to all four wheels. A unique feature of the Track was it's adjustable ride height. At full height the car rasied it's clearance from eight to thirteen inches! Only five examples of the Track were completed, before a new more exciting product would take its place: the Mega Monte Carlo" So might be fun off-road and on dirt tracks. Cheers Kevin
How about the Porsche 911? these are great sports cars but I don't think they are exotic. Nice website.
The NSX is to much for what you get. You only get 300 some hp. Ugly car for 75 grand Canadian. What a stupid car
Funny, my very first thoughts were the same. The side view combined with the sighting in France made me think MVS Venturi. But then I saw the Porsche in front of it....it looks so small! This thing is huge! Interesting, because I had never heard of the Mega-Track. Aixam yes, because a lot of handicapped people here in Holland drive little Aixam vehicles (50cc. engines). You don't need to have a driver's license for them, and you can drive 'em on the bicycle-paths.
Funny enough when they tested the S Zero NSX (non modded) in japan Vs. a ferrari 355, the ferrari got spanked right? still a stupid car?... it may not be as worthwhile as a ferrari even though a bit faster, but it still deserves some credit
I couldn't identify that car but looks like a piece of crap, proportions are all wrong and with thise big 'ol tires I bet is not all that fast.
There is nothing stupid about an NSX. Only your comment is stupid. You obviously have no knowledge regarding this car and you sure as hell have never driven one. But you must be from Canada so that explains everything.
You, my good sir, are a moron. Enough said. Do some research on the car before you flap your critical gums. The performance of the NSX hangs with many ferrari's, for 1/3 the price. You get one hell of a package for the money.
i'll be the lone dissenter here and say that i'd buy one just to see what it's like. must be fairly interesting to drive. especially offroad. john
