    the z stands for zagato. solely a european car, i have never heard of one being in the u.s.

    These are very cool Alfa's. There is also a convertible (or Spyder) version, called the Alfa RZ. It is based on the Alfa 75 (MILANO) V6. Check out this site for the register:

    I love the SZ.

    It reminds me that in 1992 I passed that car on my way to campus on the road in LA Brentwood area (San Vicente Blvd I think). Too bad I didn't look at the license plates. I guess it was on tourist visa.

    That's an Alfa Romeo SZ from 1989 if I'm correct.
