    I need recommendations for a hardwood floor refinisher in the Chicago area. Floors would need sanded and floor would need to be restained and urethaned.

    About a year ago, my friend had the kitchen and dining room floors done by a fellow that quoted such a low price, I thought the results would look like crap.

    The workmanship was impecable, and the guy even came back and did a touch-up at no charge, after my friend's dog walked on the wet finish.

    Let me know please, we're looking for such a guy right now. So far the guys/companies we spoke to are either great craftsmen or good business people, but not the combination of both.
