I'm thinking about buying a ferrari in the Medford area just north of Boston. Can anyone provide the name of a good shop to do a PPI before I buy the car?
    Thanks.

Although I don’t have a lot of personal experience with FoNE, I believe they have a lot of experience and would be very capable of doing a PPI.
I also understand the Dennis Lui would be a great resource as he has a great understanding of who the best shops are in the greater MA area.
Have a look at the Ferrari Club, Northeast Chapter. This also is a great resource.
    Good luck.

i didnt want to start another thread, so i looked in the archives. can anyone tell me where this shop is located??

there is a Lamborghini Urraco in Berlin, Mass that i may be purchasing in the next day or so and i would like to have it looked at once i make the arrangements with the owner. mapquest shows Berlin to be west of Boston and i dont want to waste the mans ( or the shops) time having to go out of the way to have the car looked at.

any help would be great !!! Michael

Sorry for late reply thecarreaper, am travelling in Europe right now for work. KTR all the way. Look at the cars other shops work on, then compare to KTR and ALSO the way they handle race support for 'proper' cars. The choice is obvious.

KTR is located in Ayer, which is much closer to Berlin than Weston, where Boston Sports Car is located. I've often recommended KTR to folks (as well as Boston Sports Car, Ferrari of New England and the shop that does my work, Independent Ferrari Service), and David at KTR is by, all accounts a great mechanic/guy.

Having said all of that, I might in this instance lean towards Boston Sports Car, if only because they are affiliated with Lamborghini North America, and was (and may still be) LNA's parts and service coordinator. If I were getting a PPI done on a Lambo, I'd take it there. Give BSC a call and speak with Jonathan Kirshtein if Darin is not around, and Jonathan does a LOT of stuff with Lambo.

    vty,
