For a 308 engine. It will have the bell housing attached so those harbor freight ones would t do. Is there a good universal one?

Given that the 308 sits atop it's gearbox this gives you two options. A square frame cart with mounts matching the frame mounts location or the std engine stand once the engine is split from the gearbox. There have from time to time been the square frame carts available on ebay, you can weld one up fairly easy yourself as well, provided you weld of course.

I went a bit lazy and fancy and got hydrolic jack table carts. large enough to have the gearbox and engine lump sit on it and easily raise/lower to make working on them not kill your back. Std engine stand for when the block is free of the gearbox.

I do weld and was thinking I'd have to go that route but. An hydraulic table sounds like a good idea.
