    Hey Guys

Im sort of live between london a and Singapore and was considering bringing my F430 to Sing for a year or so. Is that possible and can i still drive temp on UK plates.
I have De-catted the car and it has a Tubi exhaust, does that matter cos i know how strict it is out here. I dont see may Ferraris around town, well do see a red F360 F1 car parked on Orchid rd Marroit Hotel.

Big taxes I think but most countries allow temp importation be it carnet de passage or just a prepayment of taxes which can be returned upon export.

Removal companies or specialist freight forwarders will be able to give more facts.

I would think its better if you just bought a F430 here and sell it off after a year when you plan to leave. Only problem, is the wait for a brand new F,
You shld consider a Gallardo or something.
I am not too sure about the taxes, but I guess you can deff drive it here, for how long, I am not sure.
Maybe you can check with Lta 1800 2255582 and they would provide you with all the info.

I second what D said but buy a used F430 which is about 220Kpounds but you'd probably sell it for 200Kpounds after a year or so depending on market condition. Doesn't make sense to do a temp import. The new 7% VAT is non refundable not to mention the shipping, insurance, legislation fees & import tax of 110%?

Most Expats rent a simple car here.
