Can i change the brake pads on my car ?

Since my friends and i had fun installing the muffler bypass on my car, im looking at what we can do ourselves...

Could we do that ? What kind of tool do we need ?

I think you guys could pull this off if you did the muffler work without incident.

 

If they are anything like the Boxster calipers on my 914, they should be the easiest brake pads to change. Mine only have a cotter pin or something, makes for easy changes at the track.

 

look on Rennlist, search the 997 fourm for "brake job" good info there.

 

I was wondering if i should get pagid pads but i dont really intend to track it, its too heavy and tires are too expensive for the fun i would get.
