As some of you know, I am working on a 348 "Challenge Grill" that will convert the 348 rectangular grill to round tail lights. However, since I don't own a 355, I don't have the ability to give the 355 tail light panel (challenge or otherwise - makes no difference) a close up exam.

What I am most interested in is the ANGLE that the tail lights are mounted, as they relate to the ground itself. It appears that the lights are angled very slightly UPWARD, not quite 45 degree angle to the ground. Could one of you 355 owners take a few very close up photos of your tail lights DIRECTLY FROM THE SIDE? A direct SIDE ANGLE shot of the car (rear) with the lights visible will give me a good idea as to what angle the lights are set. If it is a side/rear photo, I won't really be able to accurately tell the angle.

While my goal is not to make the rear of the 348 look like that of a 355, the 355 represents the closest body lines to that of a 348, and I believe that the tail light angle should be at least similar.

Thanks in advance for your help with this!

If you’re talking about the angle of the lens to the ground, the lens appear to be vertical, a 90 degree angle with the ground.
