    Hello "F"-Chatters,

    I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to send me a pic of their paint lable (under engine cover). What I like to have is the Corsa Rossa coour for a 79 308GTB/GTS model. I'm actually looking for a clear pic so that I may copy it. My engine deck lid was repainted and I'd like to see the style of writing.

    Your 79 would have been re-painted if it is painted Rosso Corso,
    as that was a 80's color.

    It depends on what shade of red it is...

    My 77 is Rosso Chiaro.

    I have new ones for sale if you are interested. Originally they were blank and then the color code was scribed on by hand.

    Dave,

    I have a copy of the orig. window sticker, and it says Ross Chario.....

    Heck, I thought it had been missprinted or tampered with.

    Looks as if it was accurate!

    The code under the colour "Rosso Chiaro", would that be the paint code?

    What do the numbers say (was difficult to read) I think I got "20 R 190" ?

    Hey jay,

    Do you have the proper lable for the 1979 model??

    I believe that the lable may only have one box area for the code (rather than '2', one for the wording and the other for the numerical code).

    also, the other lables, are they correct for 79, i.e. high voltage, collant etc.?

    Yes, the paint code is 20-R-190

    And while the metallic labels that Jay offers are not the original labels,
    They are a Very Good copy, and at some point I will be purchasing all of them for my 77 308 when I get that far along with the restoration.

    As for the proper paint label for a 79 308,
    It looks just like the one I posted after 27 years,
    or just like the one Jay posted, as new.

    The font for the High Voltage and coolant decals changed throughout the run but remain very similar. They haven't changed the text from the Dino GT4 up till the 355 except for the font. Email me and I'll send you guys pics of everything I have. [email protected]
