I am thinking of installing 2 SVS turbos on my 98 SV, they will be set up to run only 3 to 5 pounds of boost, my question is do I have to run more fuel or fuel pressure and do i have to adjust the timeing as well ? these turbos go after the exhaust pipes, not bolted directly to the exhaust manifolds or headers as most turbos do , I have researched it for a while but have yet to come up with any knowledge, very few people have lamborghini expirience,I hope somebody can help, Thanks .

    Yes,

You can run 5lbs boost on the stock motor, as well as injectors, but i would change the fuel pumps to walbro 255lph.

The stock fuel system maxed out @ 700 HP on a fully 100% perfect setup, so change the pumps to be on the safe side.

You will need to run a FMU Rising rate AFPR so as boost rises, the fuel pressure increases.

I doubt there is anyone that is more familiar with boosted Diablo cars than myself, so any questions, ask away.

    I have a question...and honestly, I'm just an "old stock 4 v-12 liter" guy

But I thought all these lambo motors started having "twisty crank" problems when you try much of any boost.

Is that why the limit is 5lbs?

    Thanks,

    Fred

..........................................................................Thank you very much , is the AFPR a fuel pressure regulator? Do i swap out the current regulator to the rising rate reg. then replace the fuel pumps then plumb the turbos ?

Send the car to Sp engineering. Alex over there is doing low boost kit for a 99 diablo sv. Better to have professionals do it.

.............................................Thanks thats good advice , but i am just a boat yard laborer, probably the poorist Lamborghini owner out there , not complaining its just everything on my car is hands on , from the chassis rebuild to the grinding on the quarter panels, to the changing of the oil lines to AN ,and installing oversized fans, its like therapy.I will say that after today , which was about 60 degress here in NY , the SV was a ANIMAL , I guess I miss all the turbo noises from my other car ., but the car is anything but lacking power.
