If my math is correct MS can clinich it at Spa. If he wins that race and RB comes in second the count would be 130 vs. 90 with 4 races to go. Even if RB won all the remaining races and MS didn't score a point they would be tied at the end of the season and I assume the tie breaker is wins.

Yes Jon MS could win it at Spa if he gets 2 more points than Barrichello. Besides, I really don't think RB has a chance to win the championship even if he tried. It would require MS DNF in every single race and RB win every one of them or at the worst finish second. Something tells me if RB wins a race it'll probably be the Brazilian GP. ;) Now if it wasn't for a dumbo named Montoya it might have been 13 for 13 right now.

Even Michael admitted that Jarno had him beat before the incident. As soon
as Ruebens is allowed to race he will win a couple of GP's.

Yes, the tie breaker are number of wins, then number of second places and so on.

In essence he won the title today by mathematically eliminating Button. His contract assures him the title against Rubens.

Actually I was thinking about that myself and was wondering what would happen: If MS would hurt himself right NOW and would have to end the season right NOW, would Ferrari/Todt let Rubens race for the title or not?
In theory MS could insist on his #1 status and demand from Ferrari that Rubens is not allowed to pass his points advantage:

Spa: "Oh my gosh, what is happening to Ruben's pitstop? The fuel hose is not working and there goes Raikkoenen in the lead!"

Monza: "Oh no, engine kablamo and game over for Rubens!"

Sao Paulo: "I can't believe it: Massa just hit Rubens and they're both in the kiddy litter."

Suzuka: "Will Rubens streak of bad luck finally come to an end? Well he has pole. But what is that, he is waving his arms, he cannot select a gear!"

Shanghai: "Well done, Rubens, finally a victory, but the title went to Michael."

...there was a second gunman on the grassy nole, his name was Jean Todt.

Ross would reach for that second button on his little communicator on his belt. You know the one that's hidden and leans out the fuel so the engine blows.

Of he could just be blatant about it like he was with our hero Eddie. Whooops.............where the heck did those tires go ??

Thanks, it feels good not to be the only one thinking like that.

Todt:"Listen Rubens, just to keep you used to the situation we decided that going forward you should make sure you come in behind Fisichella."

    That'll do.

It will be Kimi after 2007, not Fisichella. :)

I hear you, but that's not what I meant: If MS cannot finish the season, Napoleon will tell him to stay behind Fisico. That way Rubens cannot get enough points.

Kimi in 2007? Yahoo! The dream team will at least leave a car behind he has a fair chance of winning the title with, regardless of who takes over in 2007.

I think the objective from now till the end of the season are to
    1) Secure Michael's Drivers World Championship at Spa
    2) Secure Rubens' 2nd plae in the World Championship as soon as possible
    3) Continue development on the F2005, tyres for next season and Shell fuel. :)

Rubens' can't win all the races, that is what it would take to wi the world championship. Only Michael is capable of that! :D

Kimi will come to Ferrari. His new wife is smart, she will guide him to the winning team in 2006 or 2007. I get a feed of some European Channels through my satelite dish and in an interview with a German reporter Kimi was clearly teary eyed after the race. He said "we will be competitive at Spa" and you could see that he was a broken man. He then put on his shades to hide the tears and control his emotions but I think he will be moving to Ferrari at the first available chance.

Yes, Michael can and will win at Spa and thus clinch the drives title. Michael has said that he likes driving at Spa and the car should do really well there. Just hope that the team will let Rubens race head-to-head with Michael for the remaining races, so he can have a chance of getting some of his own wins.

    You forgot one important goal:

    4) Rubens will win his home GP

I'm not kidding. This will be the team's and Michael's payback to Rubens. No matter what happens, they will do anything possible to assure his victory. Guaranteed.

Rubens has failed to finish in Brazil for nine years in a row !

But he really wants it, so eventually he will succeed i guess.
