    at the dealership.

    24661 Miles Road - Warrensville Hts., OH 44128 - (216) 831-9191

I am located in California and this will be my first Ferrari.

I really appreciate the help if someone can drive there and look at the car, make sure it's in good condition.

Sorry i can't help you, i'm in Michigan, but if your interested in a 355 you can trust www.kipshewardmotorsports.com. He is currently selling my 328GTS and you can trust buying a car from him without looking at it first. He has several 355's on his showroom floor.

Where is a Ferrari dealer at? With all of the 355 problems you might want to get a full inspection. (Valve guides, cracked exhaust manifolds). You might want to get a compression test & make sure things have been serviced like timing belt. If I was closer I would love to look at it.I ran into the same problem, found a 6000 mile Countach for 70K, but it was in your neck of the woods, Long Beach. The old man (70's) would not take it anywhere due to traffic, couldn't get anyone to look at it. Remember that no deal is better than a bad deal. Good luck, you might want to look up Gershwin on this site, if he doesn't chime in. He has a nice 355 & knows more what to look for.

That address sounds like Marshall Goldman Motors. I may be able to get there this week but I can't promise anything. Email me all of the info and what you want me too look for specifically. I will say that MGM is known for having VERY nice cars. They are typically pretty pricey but nice.

Edit: My email would help wouldn't it. [email protected]

Bruce: if you are in california , why not get one here? There are usally some good ,clean cars and I would recomend using the FNA dealer network and get either Power 1 or 2 warranty for peace of mind. Dealer will not sell car unles it has the 30K service done on it too.

That is Goldman's place...and his cars are very pricey relative to market.

I don't want to downplay his dealer at all, but I work with exotic dealers all the time, and I haven't heard exceptionally good recommendations about the place.

I would look out in your area, and get one from a Ferrari dealer.

Regardless, I'm close to there, so let me know if you want me to check it out, although you really should have a Ferrari mechanic look at it.

I live in San Diego but will be heading to Cleveland next week, plan to stop by Marshall Goldmans. Switchcars is right about their pricing; OTOH, they tend to sell very pristine cars.

I'm checking out their 308. Drop me a note if you want pics and details on that 355. It looks sensational from the pics.

The downside is that for a PPI (recommended!) you might need to have it done in Cleveland - if you're not there for the PPI, I'm not sure you get the same value out of it.
