This stunning 2005 F430 was recently traded in at the dealership I work at. I am the photo / video guy, so when making the video, I started and revved it and I cannot believe it is a stock exhaust. We looked it over but couldn't tell if it had a different component in the exhaust, and the previous owner did not specify it.

Can anyone here distinguish what if different about this exhaust? It sounded way louder and better than stock.

Thank you in advance, this request is purely for me, as I am curious as hell as to what is different about this car. I like to know everything about cars that I film.

I have no idea what kind of exhaust it is, but it does sound good. What are you guys going to ask for the car? Any other info on it?

    Thanks,

My guess is a stock exhaust w the vacuum valves unplugged?

Can you take some close up pics and post?

Tips don't look stock. My guess is either tubi or fabspeed, without valves. Pitch is a tad bit different which suggests sports cats or test pipes. I'm leaning towards test pipes coz it's close to what mine sounds like except without the extreme high pitch which comes with headers.

The valves were unplugged, I forgot to mention that. Do you think that is the only mod?

Thanks for the info. I am going to look at it again when I go in on Monday.

It does sound a tad louder then stock even with the Vac plugs out. Unless for some reason your microphone was a tad on the sensitive side. It's true the tips don't looks stock, but it could also just be fabspeed tips installed over factory ones. Just open the hatch next time and look to see if there's a semi shiney ~ 2 W X 1H rectangular box with the Ferrari logo embossed and another symbol slightly to the right of the F logo that looks like somebody's hand flippin' u off. That's stock!

Sounds exactly like mine, and it's probably EXACTLY like mine, which is stock exhaust with FabSpeed non-valved tubes and tips (and yes, vacuum lines plugged). Not particularly flattering IMO, but bought car that way. I like the tips very much, however. Currently researching non-valved exhaust option with a more Ferrari-like higher pitch, but lower drone levels inside the car.

Fabspeed tips are not just tip covers like the ones you can get from Ricambi, they are the full length tubes to the muffler box, and for this case would be the Fabspeed tips without valves or valve tube disconnected. There's definitely more than just a muffler change. I seriously think the cats have been toyed with. Headers would most likely be stock coz the pitch is not high enough...yet!

Fabspeed also offers slip-over tip sleeves for the factory tips (similar to Ricambi's and Exotica's) in addition to their valved/non-valved rear pipe replacement sections. They're $795.
