I need some solid information regarding cluctch parameters ect. on a 2002 F1 360.
First of all, does the 2002 have the newer TCU like some people speak of? Here's why I'm asking, I just recently had my clutch replaced from an independent mechanic, he used the navigator txt to adjust my PIS ect.
So when the new clutch was installed the people he got the navigator from said to just run the auto PIS option where it runs through all the gears for about a minute. So after that was done the clutch wear was still all over the place, so we changed the settings so that the clucth was at about 13.5mm and the slippage was at about 3.5. The car seems to run good like this, slips until almost about 2000 rpm but bites all the way at about 2300 which Ferrari of Vancouver told me is where it should be. So anyway, got the clutch to read 0% wear but after the car is driven and hooked back on to the navigator it reads 223% and the thickeness numbers change to -2.22. Does anyone know why? My local Ferrari dealership (3 hours away) doesn't want to get back to me as I would like to get it on their SD2/3 to have this sorted out.
Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks

That car really needs to be serviced by someone who is serious enough about properly serving his clients that he is willing to buy a real tool.

He is using a tinkertoy and experimenting on your expensive car.

There are many software versions for the 360 F1. A 2002 should have one of the good ones, actually the best in my opinion but they have been switched around so much over the years it is impossible to tell without looking at the TCU part number.

I have a Texa (and an AE) as well as having access to (and plenty of experience with) SD2/3 and Leonardo. The cheaper aftermarket stuff can be an utter nightmare to use if you just follow the prompts on the screen - it really requires experience with the factory kit (so you know what it supposed to be done) and a lot of lateral thinking.

If your tech has used the Texa Auto PIS command on your 2002 TCU then he is certainly using the wrong protocols and risks buggering up your TCU (which may have already happened from what you type).

I also wouldn't listen to a word Texa or their vendors tell you - every single one I have spoken to has had zero experience with Ferrari/Maserati and they don't care about fixing their tool. I have opened numerous tickets with their tech dept and have even told them how to resolve the issues but to date, not a single one has been addressed.

Ok, so even though it's been tinkered with now... Would going to Ferrari and having them hook it up to the SD2/3 fix the problem? The car has 10 miles on it since the clutch install
