Can the front end of the 456M be put on a regular 456?

    I know the front end (lights, intakes, etc) are set up differently, but I was wondering how 'convertible' the regular 456 is to be able to mount the 456 bumper/lights/etc.

    Also, can a 456 hood with the daytona scoops be put on a 456M without a lot of customizing?

    I'm trying to develop more pieces for the 456 but would rather just work with certain ones instead of having to invest in both 456 and 456M OEM parts.

    From my experience between 550-575 parts i would say the parts would be interchangable.

    I have no idea if they are interchangeable or not (I would guess not), but in any event the reverse scoops are one of the coolest aspects of the 456GT!

    I can't imagine anyone wanting to make their 456GT look like a 456M.

    I want the GT hood and the M bumper. Of course, my bumper will be different, but based on the M.

    Well, we dont have one of each here. I thought we did, but one left on Friday. Looking at the parts CD really does not help since the pics are pretty geniric. If we get another non-M in soon, I will let you know.

    The 456M has a different shape bumper and hood (as seen from above). The fascia (bumper) and hood are quite different, but both versions may bolt to either car, as the attaching points are PROBABLY the same. You'll need to check this. Also, the M grille opening is larger and brake and radiator ducts are different. Headlights and covers appear to be identical, but you'll need to check these.

    But, fundamentally, the cars are the same. Best thing to do is park the two different models next to each other and do a thorough check.
