99.9% sure it's bolted, because I have a new one that bolts in.

On my 355 that piece has some spot welds on it, not to argue guys but I don't think it just bolts on. Regards, Vern

Are these welds on the sides or front mate?

It's folded metal, spot welded to itself, but is it spot welded to the rest of the car?

I could be wrong because maybe I missed something but, I tried taking that piece off of both my 348 and 355, removing all the 8mm bolts that I could find, and IIRC there were two spot welds near the head light covers and couple behind the bumper. I can't verify that for sure because my car isn't apart at this moment but, I am 95% sure there is more to that than removing the 8mm bolts. Sorry for not being better help. Regards, Vern

Normaly there are two spot welds on it. One on each side on top. Like the front fenders also have these spot welds.
