Well after reading thru the thread I know a few things for sure.

1. If they do it right it will be cool.( not that I approve).

2. I’ll never be able to afford one anyway so …

3. MV Agusta is the Ferrari of motorcycles not Ducati.

4. The Dino308GT4 is still the best Ferrari ever built!

Because that embarrassment is not a Ferrari. But a separate website? Good idea.

Hard to make an SUV ahem FUV looking anything but what it is. I actually think restraint and understatement are the best ways to go. Don't make it anything it isn't.

For folks that whine about it, it's not like Ferrari canceled the Icona series, declared they will stop selling the SF90, 296, or they won't have an 812/LaFerrari successors.

People that really want to complain about this to prove their 'hardcore - Ferrari purist bonafides' - there's always FXX and Challenge. Did the Purosangue cancel those? Hell, how about F1 Corse Clienti?

As a Ferrari fan I think the Purosangue is already outdated before release compared to the Lotus Eletre.

In my opinion the Lotus both looks better and has a better performance (the top version has 900 HP!), and is way cheaper.

But whaddya I know? We have folks here saying 1,000-2,000 hp is too high and scary for them.

I won't even mention what's in store in the 2030s...I don't want to give anyone a heart attack.

 

We failed to stop getting rid of the 6 speed, AWD, fake vents, 4 seats, hatchback, digital dashes, turbo, traction control, airbags, reinforced B pillars, cats, PFs, LEDs, hybrid.

Don't like it? Don't buy it.



Something tells me this will sell like pancakes, which means more $$$ and that equals more cars.

The Macan/Cayenne does not prevent the 918, Carrera GT, or GT2 RS. I argue it actually is the cause.

See, I am fine with 4 seats. It’s the flagrant selling out of the brand I have the most problem with, not the only problem but the biggest.

No, I will set aside $3500 now to buy one when the warranty expires so I can use it to haul stuff that would otherwise make my Raptor dirty.

They should be as common as dirt by then.

Isn't the Model X Plaid faster and cheaper? ....in 3-5 years every manufacturer will have a 900+hp EV SUV. After 100 years of ICEV, how many N/A 800 hp SUV exists?

IMO once everyone can do it, it is no longer special or impressive.
