Is that the price someone is paying for an owner's Manual?

    I'm surprised but I guess it's rare. I don't need it therefore I won't bid.

After going to Cavallino last month, yes. True collectors strive to win a platinum at a big-name concours. In the scheme of things on a 6-figure restoration, $20K for the appropriate paperwork is a drop in the bucket.

It sounds like it is the correct, complete documentation for a 250 TDF. If that's the case, 20K is no big deal IMO.

    ALL INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE.

PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE YOUR COUNTRIES CUSTOMS, IMPORTATION AND TAX LAWS.

DO NOT ASK FOR FRAUDULENT SHIPPING DOCUMENTS.

DO NOT ASK FOR LOWER VALUES ON YOUR DOCUMENTS SO YOU CAN VIOLATE YOUR COUNTRIES TAX LAWS .

THE EXACT AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ITEM IS THE VALUE OF THE ITEM AND IS THE EXACT AMOUNT THAT WILL BE PLACED ON YOUR CUSTOMS DOCUMENTS THAT ACCOMPANY YOUR PACKAGE.

People will ask for a lower price to be placed on the customs forms so they don't have to pay a large duty on the items. They are saying they won't do that and risk jail time.

Import taxes I would assume. Since the tax is a percent of what the total value of the item is, I would guess that buying an item that is 20k can have quite a bit of tax on it.

I'm guessing that if you have a 250 and are trying to sell it, the cars value will go up more than 35k with the paperwork.
