Can you change the Black Chrome finish on factory wheels

    There's a nice set of four factory 575 Maranello wheels and tires on ebay, Item number: 270216878524, but with a "black chrome" finish which I don't care for. Is it possible to rechrome them to an ordinary chrome finish or return them to some kind of pre-chromed state? I wouldn't want to paint them any color but silver.

    I would ask HRE or some other major company.
    refenishing may cause issues of leakage if wheels are 3 piece..
    My personal opionion.. I would stick with original or buy exactly how you want them to be..

    Chroming any wheel will diminish it's structural integrity. Removing the chrome and refinishing will only make matters worse. IMO I would continue your search.
