DO YOU THINK THAT A AUTOMATIC TRANS CAN CHANGED TO A MANUAL, ANY IDEA AS TO COST AND WOULD IT EFFECT THE VALUE OF THE CAR? FRANCIS

ANYTHING can be done if you have the finances. If you're concerned about the economics of such a venture, don't bother. The value of the car will nose-dive when the OEM configuration is altered. Ferraris hold their value the highest when everything (including the transmission) is OEM original. That's why people who dump aftermarket crap onto a car never recoup their investment when they sell the vehicle.

    I thought they were manual.
The 400s came with an automatic option.

365 GT late 60's early 70's car, the factory made I belive 6 or them in automatic...

That car should be easy to convert, I doubt Ferrari made differenct pedal boxes, they were probably all for manuals and they just eliminated the clutch pedal. Whoever does it for you made sure they do not butch the foot well too much so if need to return to original spec the job will be doable.
