With 911s and boxsters (same read engine, front trunk) you can't hear it from the front trunk. I'd guess the same would apply to a 348.

I don't see why not. The PO of my 348 put a 12" sub in the trunk but it needs a new amp. I've already got it so I'll let you know when I get it hooked up. I personally think the engine is all the music I need though.

A big +1. The Ferrari is all the music you could ever need. No need to ruin that. Put the subs in your everyday car.

I pulled every sound device out of my car and saved, like 60 lbs. - from the front end. Forget the subwoofer. Hell, yank the whole sound system out. Get an IPod and ear buds if u must hear something other than mechanical nirvana.

In a 328, a subwoofer would be a lost cause. As would a stereo. Honestly, I'm usually listening to the engine, matching revs, etc.

Between the additional power draw, weight and the end of your last 2 cubic feet of space in the boot... not sure I'd do this in a 348 either.

What kind of subwoofer does Kimi have? ;)

When I get my 355 back from the mechanic, I can take pictures for you, but yes, you can put a subwoofer in the front trunk, and yes, you can hear/feel it very well in the cabin.

I had a Reus System installed 7 years ago, and they put the subwoofer and amps in the trunk, and the speakers in the cabin. To be honest, the subwoofer is the best part of the system, because the speakers aren't that great so I will be replacing them soon.

    Hope this helps ;)
