Can you help me remove Bing?

    Ive repeatedly tried to change it under the general options but it changes back. Online searches have turned up a lot of info on this but either hasn't worked or too complicated for me. I tried downloading google chrome thinking fight fire with fire but didn't work.

    Look at your extensions feature in Chrome (Settings -> Extensions). Sometimes the homepage is set there by spam rather than just editing the URL in the homepage default line (general settings tab). Never had Bing do that to me, but some software comes with crap that messes with the homepage by doing it as an extension add-on.

    when I click on the new goog chrome icon it appears I still have to set up more stuff. G mail acct etc. Any other way to access my settings?

    I didn't set up anything when I installed Chrome, not account info anyway.

    For settings, see that button in the top right corner with the three bars? Click on that and you'll see this pulldown menu...

    Have you tried going to your "Add and Remove Programs" on your computer? I live by the creed "To err is human but to really foul up you need a computer".

    i was having the same problem with
    another search engine, and i was not
    able to change what search was rsponsible for the search.

    what worked , there is a option if you go to the setting in
    chrome scroll down to the bottom and click advanced settings ,
    there you can find reset browser setting.

    and this will reset your browser to previous settings.

    I am amazed how much energy MSoft has spent trying to push Bing. I think it needs to remove itself
