Can anybody comment on installing 20's in the rear and 19's in the front of a Galardo?

    Any issues? Pics?

    Thanks

Thanks Ghost ! I wonder if it impairs the handling?

Personally, I wouldn't get that setup - can't talk about rub and whatnot but just doesn't look right.

The car is lowered using the factory coilovers.

Looks great but voids your warranty. At least at Lambo OC it does.

Are there any benefits to a staggered setup, or is it purely a visual thing?

No he's not. You have to remember that the traction/AWD software uses the stock wheel/tire circumference to make it's "adjustments." The differentials were also designed with those in mind. Any change to the wheel/tire combination changes the torque being transmitted to and from the wheels to the diffs.

Granted it's not a whole lot but Audi/Lambo feels it's a large enough difference that they don't want to risk the high price of replacing the parts.

Or at least that's the information I've heard. If someone knows if this is correct or incorrect please let us know.

Changing the stock tire diameters on AWD systems will wreck your differentials, because the gearing is set to roll at certain ratios. It's the same with Subarus. You have to keep the rolling diameter the same - which on the Subarus means you can get larger wheels and thinner tires - but I think with the low profile tires the Gallardo is already on you wouldn't want any larger.

I just don't think that those GFG's or AVUS wheels on the Gallardo look nice at all. They're just flashy, but don't really have a nice design to them or enhance the look of the car. These cargraphic rims on the Gallardo though really make the car stand out:

Just in regards to the comparison to subaru that is not the case, many subaru owners (including myself) have opted for larger wheel combinations and thinner tires but the main point is they have to be the same on all four corners of the car due the awd. when you replace tires you should always replace all 4 at the same time, things like that otherwise the you'll have uneven wear, bad performance, and as someone else mentioned the AWD wouldnt be able to do its job.
