    Any discount places you can mailorder things like:

    1) Fireplace mantles (marble, etc)?
    2) Bulk wood flooring?
    3) Bulk granite tile?
    4) Any other decorative touches?
    5) Soaking tubs?
    6) Plumbing hardware/faucets/etc?

    as someone who works on stone for a living, I would advise to choose very carefully when it comes to stone (marble, travertine etc) pieces. some are poor quality and poor assembly. While the nicest Travertine I have ever seen comes from Mexico, so does the worst (sometimes best) craftsmanship.

    I would stick with a local shop if possible so you can see their operation.

    I have a friend in Morris IL, and one in Plover WI. If you would like their contact info let me know. They are both reputable stone fabricators.

    BuildDirect.com will ship, free samples on some items - they were a client years ago, no involvement recently.
