Yes, it is. I've seen many in Yorkville - very beautiful car "in the metal". Pictures do not do it justice.

I'm guessing you would be pretty lucky to get a 430 at MSRP?

FoO 2 yr waiting list already. Expect 10% over list.....For less money I would take a 360 spider anyway. Or better still a 550/575.

What about the 360, are they still being sold as new models, and at what price? Thanks again.

I dunno about your comments relative to the state of the market guys. I have been promised my 430 Spider at list for May '06 delivery. I don't think there is the same demand here as there is in the US.

    I agree.
Although Im sure FoO isnt hurting to sell new 430's,a couple weeks ago I was promised a new coupe(at MSRP) by next year...the only thing is, since I got the 550, I'm not sure I can go back to 8 cyl's Go karts again..with all due repect to the awesome beauty and obvious upgrade in performance represented by the 430...I think I've been bitten by the 12 cyl. bug...Im thinking this one is a KEEPER!!

    Thx Vasco,

Got the 355 last year and loved it,my first F car. I'm sure thats a great feeling for anyone. But considering the value a used 550 represents (at least, to me it does) I couldnt resist the "up grade"/ change. So far, Im blown away....
My friend was so impressed with the difference that he is seriously considering one as well. I told him about your silver 2000 (at substantially less than I paid, by the way,OUCH!). I was going to PM you anyways for details on it...KLM's,history, service, option, updates,# of owners, paint work/damage..etc..would appreciate the info if its still available.

P.S. Sadly, Im almost hoping something is substantially "wrong/off" with it...I thought mine was a GREAT deal, but your price sounds incredible!!(much less than 50% of original MSRP)...would have saved me a bundle! Oh well,at least my buddy could make out like a bandit though.,lol!

    Thx again!

Good to hear you are happy with the 550. As for that silver one, that car seem's to be 100%. It's not mine but my ex-bosses. If interested, let me know and I can help you out. Simply pm me @ your convenience.

    Cheers,

I believe the 360 coupe was 235ish...the spyder was about 260-265...these prices would be without options, of course :)

Ma, Steve where are you getting this info? The last time a new 360 without options went for 235ish was 2000. WHen you walk into FoO unless you were a previous owner there is no way you can expect a 430 or 430 spider in under 2yrs.Even still you will need at least a yr before you get the car. Canada is only alotted a certain number of cars, once they hit that number, its extrememly difficult to get any extra.

    Hey Rick,

Lol, it's true...the last time I asked about a 360 at the dealer was around 2000 or 2001, I didnt expect it would go up significantly over the life of the model.
As to the 430, Paul promised me one delivered next year if I wanted one and ordered it soon(this was in late May,this year)....I dont think I'll be ordering one now because Im enjoying the 550 so much, but Im just relating what he said...I didnt think it was a big deal, Ive already purchased 2 cars from them...although none were new.

I didnt mean to imply that anyone without a prior dealer "relationship" could waltz in and get one soon...I thought it was understood that you cant buy new ferrari's from the dealer at MSRP without prior purchases from them..at least not the "popular" models, lol.

My understanding is, from what Ive read on this site is that Americans, even ones with this prior relationship with the dealers, have to wait longer...only the "super" customers are getting them in the next couple of years...this is certainly not the case with the dealers here, as I am certainly not a big shot, with many new car purchases under my belt.

I hope this clarifies what I was attempting to say, and sorry for the misunderstanding.

    Steve

P.S. Rick, are you free on July 7? Please watch for a thread I will be creating today or tomorrow regarding this date...very cool stuff for a good cause.

I was just wondering because Ive been (I think) a long time owner, and when I wanted a 360 it would have taken me nearly 2 yrs. I walked in their the other day and thinking about this new "dino" I wouldnt mind being on thelist for that. Its a beauty. As for the 7th Im all ears, what did you have in mind?

    Hey Rick,

Doh, I should have listed my thread with a date, but on July/07 there is a local event near where I work...please refer to the "see schummy's F-1 car" thread for more details...
The only thing that sucks about it is that it is on a workday, so It will be a tough go for most to get there.
Either way, we should all try and figure out another day for a local fchat member get together..if this one doesnt pan out, or enough people cant make it because we have to work to keep our fcars on the road, lol.

There was a thread a couple weeks ago mentioning the 24th of july, but I will be out of town then :(...any other times we can all agree on..ideas?..thoughts?

After all these discussions, it would be nice to finally get together for a meet/drive one of these days....

Hmmm, June 26..the funny thing is I will be up in Niagra falls this weekend...but could certainly meet up on the way back to T.O. A little far of field, but certainly do-able.

Guess it depends on the weather..leaving Friday night I was hoping for no rain...love driving the Fcar to Niagra Falls.

Where do you guys figure to be around lunch time?..how many are in?
    Enquiring minds need to know.....
