Did anybody see the brief blurb in the Globe today? Ferrari will offer a driver's school at Mt. Tremblant. For owners only...
Ferrari isn't doing it, the club is. If it is the same one I'm thinking of it will coincide with the Challenge series and the Historics. From what I hear Tremblent is an amazing track to drive, especially if you're driving around with vintage racers from the 50's and 60's.
It would be interesting to learn a bit of performance driving. Not that I'm looking at doing this right now, but what would a normal fee be for lessons?
I was fortunate enough to get a ride around Tremblant in a Porsche 996 911 GT3! It was amazing, and the track is great.
The school will be run by Ferrari North America. They will have as many as 30 days at Le Circuit this season. Apparently the school is modeled after the Ferrari "Pilota" school in Europe. The Euro version has a waiting list nearly two years long. Should be interesting. I don't know whether it is restricted to owners or not. Regards,
Hey Bob! Will you be attending rennsport events at Tremblant this year? If so i look foward to meeting you.
I did the 3rd BMW level course in Tremblant . Awsome, the track is great, but it is a rollercoaster, hold on tight to your lunch. I MIGHT go there again for Formula 2000 courses.
