Must to be nice to be rich. My Intrepid R/T is winter-stored better than that. Heated garage, trickle charger, spare 16" wheels/tires so my nice set of wheels don't get flatspots.

    Thanks for the directions!
I know - sounds absurd! I guess I didn't venture far enough on Lakeshore West.

As much as I dislike the boring 905 cookie-cutter areas. Anywhere south close to the lake is awesome. Port Credit, Oakville etc. I've done it many times even by motorcycle. A great run.

Port Credit is awesome? Reaaaally? I've grown up in this city and while I do like Lorne Park, as well as the nice drive down Mississauga Rd, the entire area around PC just bothers me. It genuinely feels like it's not even Mississauga anymore.

Well parts of it. Like the marina, the nice houses in and around Miss Rd., Mineola, Lorne park, wings and beer at the Pump, the cougars at "10" Bar and lounge etc. etc.

    LOL

That was a good history spot of Port Credit...you should work for National Post or something!

I like Port Credit as well..I've been many times. (My wife is from the area.) Lots of quaint hideouts for food and beer. And a nice walk on by the marina on a warm evening.

Homes in Port Credit are more expensive than the Beaches !

But PC is definitely lacking growth, they need to renovate the Lakeshore downtown area, by tearing down the old junk and put up more condos/buildings to attract more business. They could make that place a huge tourist destination if they would invest more in the upcoming years.

I agree with you on every part except for the fact that more residences need to be brought up anywhere in Mississauga. Sheesh; get anywhere in west Mississauga (Winston Churchill) or the Square One area and all you see is residential construction.

The Beaches, Humber Bay, and Port Credit are the only decent Water/Boardwalk areas in the GTA...pretty sad considering we have a huge Lakeshore that stretches across the entire city. Everything else between Port Credit and downtown TO is crap.

If they improve Port Credit they could turn it into something like "Niagara on the Lake" with tons of tourist spots and a beautiful boardwalk.

I live 3 houses up from lakeshore in Oakville, They have postings all along lakeshore calling it the Water Front Trail.
This so called trail is broken up into small pieces and small little parks. On top of that, most of the trail was broken up because of the @#$% people and their estates protruding the lake front didn't want anyone walking or making noise.

The house in the last few threads is owned by the Powels, there is only 3 living in the home.
It is used for entertaining quite a bit.

Thanks for the PM. I am no longer at World Fine Cars as of this week. We'll meet up another time. Possibly picking up cougars at "10" in your RT :)

I would say more of a God.

Holy hell, the matte black car looks deadly!

The orange car isn't too bad, either.

Just did a lot of random cruising tonight and realized I've driven past the main gate to this "castle" many times! Can't believe I never looked further to notice the massive estate. What a sight... Drove around the esplanade road and more beachside streets. Some really beautiful homes there...

Oh and drove by MVL too. The Mirage is not in the showroom, but they had a nice ZR1 along with two 599s and a rosso 575SA.

Those 599's at MVL have been there for almost 2 years now....I drive by there almost every day. IIRC they are asking $349 each..(down from $399 last year)......considering you can get a US 599 for $299 they were about 100$ k over priced. Doh!

Must make a visit! That's not too far down from campus. Hope they don't kick my mediocre Altima out of the parking lot.

I doubt they would kick you out....they are only a leasing company. Unfortunately alot of their ferraris have been sitting in the showroom for months. Who in their right mind would buy a used Ferrari in the gta considering you can get a US car for 1/3 the price. Ive been surfing eBay and am astonished with the amount of deals down there. Literally dozens of 599 and 430 scuds selling for mid 200s. Prices are so out of whack here

Much depends upon the sellor's motivation. None of the guys with F cars at MVL are particularly motivated.

Unless the dollar goes down to .60 cents again, they might make their money back on those 599's. But as the economy stalls, those 599's are going to continue to depreciate under the $200k US mark eventually........I know the original prices were $399, and they are now reduced to $349k. Looks like they might have to drop to $325 next.

FoO has a few 430 Scuds selling in high $290, they seem to be a better sell than a 599 these days.........
