I wasn't sure, so I asked my daughter ... yup, that's my back end in the pic. Someone must be a bit disturbed to take a picture of us leaning over like that ... from now on I'm not bending over in front of you guys ;-)

As it turns out, DK was having a problem with the slow down light coming on in his car. We found a solenoid that had loosened from its mounting and was bouncing around as he drove. I zip tied it back onto its mounting and he was apparently OK for the rest of the trip to Montreal. Not sure how long the repair lasted after that, but it was my first time working on a 360

Looking to join up with you all again in a few weeks.

Bob O in beautiful downtown Lovettsville and I wish I was going to Montreal this year. The sidekick, Corey, will be in Rome, as in Italy, so can't can't do M'real.

 

My daughter and I had a good laugh over it. I hate that you won't make it to Montreal.

I booked a hotel several months ago and now can't use reservation. Naturally I can't cancel the reservation thanks to hotels.com.

The room is in the Delta montreal (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=delta+montreal+Montr%C3%A9al,+QC,+Canada&ll=45.512362,-73.645477&spn=0.122458,0.22419&om=1). Good hotel and good location but I have no idea about parking.

I have the reservation for June 23rd - June 26th. For the three nights the total is 1,311.24.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

 

Is anyone driving an SUV and trucking their car up to Montreal? Curious, I wanted to drive as I always do but this year Im kind've exploring the other options as well.

some have talked about not driving their cars , like me , and was called a chicken , so I am going to drive my car or bust. It would be so gay for someone to pick up their car in the last few miles to drive into MTL with it. hell its only 500 miles, not like its Miami 17hr drive. enjoy yor car and drive up , that wil be half the fun.
but i do know of a mortgage broker trucking his murci up there, perhaps you can get a ride with him and the other cluck clucks....his number is 555-DORK

I'm planning to drive my 360 spider if I get time to change out the race pads, rotors, and get street tires back on it. Time is growing short. But if I get it ready, it would be great to have multiple hot cars driving up together.

for anyone driving up to mtl , i was going to make up removeable decals denoting the rally , havnt really figured out the logo - something like" mid atlantic chimps invade canada" rally ..or something of the like... interested ? pm me ill make a set for you .
