    does anyone know what network will be showing the race this weekend? I think last year they showed the race on FOX, but I didnt see it on their website. Speed TV does not have it listed either for their up comming weekend schedule.

    It's Fox. Noon central. Based on last year's fiascos, be prepared to see the lights go out right when the coverage starts

    It'll be on Fox at 10am here on the west coast. I hate it how, the race starts as soon as coverage begins. None of the good stuff before the race is shown.

    Especially since NASCAR gets what seems like about four hours of pre-race Waltripisms.

    What channel is it on Direct TV??? BTW is this Fox Sports or just plain old Fox????

    Just regular Fox. If you don't subscribe to your local channels you may not have that channel

    Practice on Friday and Quali are both on Speed. Race on Fox w/ coverage beginning at 1pm. Since the race starts at 1pm I think you can assume Tillman is correct.

    I wonder if it will be in HD. Hopefully we'll at least get the upscaled, widescreen version that SpeedHD has been showing.

    I don't really mind the immediate start as long as they actually show the race live. It would really suck if they started coverage when the race started then had 5-15 min of prerace coverage ruining live timing.

    I've noticed that Speed "time compresses" their replays: They cut away for two laps worth of commercials, and when they cut back, five laps have gone by.
    On replays, they have to fit the time slot. The commercials aren't the part that's going to go.

    The Fox broadcast will probably be the same Speed commentators, just with slightly fuzzier graphics (after it's been routed through the local affiliate).

    FOX owns SpeedTV. Possibly the broadcast is on a 30 minute delay and we will see that prerace segment...............................................................................................nah, doubtful, FOX really sucks. But then, we are lucky its not on CBS again.

    thanks for the info....how come FOX has not advertised this race being on their network? it seems that every time FOX airs a NASCAR race you see ads for in on speed and FX and other FOX channels
