    Not even to the casino. The best way (or the way I do it) is to take a cab to the race. they drop you off at the bridge. On friday and Saturday you go back to the bridge and take a cab back to the city. Sunday is a problem, that day you can take a cab to the bridge but for some unknown reason they do not let cabs onto the island until about 2 hours after the race is over. The only way out is wait with 125,000 of your new friends for the metro, or walk about 2-3 miles to the taxis, or do what I do and go into the casino for drinks until they let the cabs onto the island.

    Nah thats jus the trick i tell the bartender to let me drink double fisted, its tough being Irish!

    I am working on another angle here. There is a FERRY that runs from the Old Port to the Island. I think even close to the Casino. Will definetly check out if it's possible to charter a small boat.
