Unless weather issue - Max will win. Checo to say he is resetting again. LH and Russell will see minor progress. Aston and SKY F1 will Profile Lance again as it’s his home race and he will go into great detail on how he beat FA in Spain.

The endless F1 propaganda in face of a dominant boring season lol. Thanks Cost- Cap!! Too little money to have competition in F1 after race 5. Its over. Hand trophy and reset for next year!!

Checo needs to find a new team. Still no team-mate for even inter- garage battle. The formula is broken overall. RedBull should give us a new driver as Checo is a dud. Only RedBull can shake it up. No other team is within .8 of Max. So why bother going!! Max literally cruised to the last win lol. Bored and running off track he was!

Boring is boring Liberty - it’s broken sorry no need to attend for what you charge for zero competition or even racing. Better at home!

Unless weather or mechanical issue- F1 is dead for the rest of the year! Teams are only developing for next season in the strategic sense!!

Dang, Perez has a couple of wins and is still in 2nd place, he doesn't suck that bad. I haven't seen anyone else beating Max.

It will be another run away race with Max
But the good news is it’s Montreal and the city and nightlife is always awesome.
I will be arriving Friday at noon and will have a drink in my hand shortly after!

So, there is no point in having any sort of competition then, because there will always be non-winners.
What about the concept of enjoying a sport, and measuring up to it?

According to some reports regarding the wildfire smoke, the GP will still go on.

Procession at the front or not, Montreal is a proper race circuit with some great viewing opportunities and just a short metro ride away a terrific city that celebrates the race in style – one of my favourite GPs (and the teams love it as well). As long as Montreal is available, I won't even look at Austin, Miami, or Vegas. BTW, I highly recommend Bouillon Bilk for dinner.

You have to admit that in any sport, no one has the garantee of winning anything.
Thus sport is only generating losers, according to you.

I went to the Montreal race at least a dozen times from 1982 to 2010 and generally enjoyed it (except in '82, when it was cold and I was under-dressed, and there was a fatal accident on the start line that delayed the start further). I always stayed on the south shore (either Greenfield Park or Brossard) and took the Metro to the track from Longueuil. On Saturday after the racing action I would take the Metro into the city and head for Rue Crescent, where there always seemed to be a street party and some neat eateries, some of which were open air. One year I went to Olympic Stadium and took in an Expos game; another year I visited an old friend and was taken to Dollard-des-Ormeaux for dinner.

In the early years I sat at the start-finish line (in both locations) but later I switched to the hairpin at the east end of the course. Compared to the early years, I missed the ability to see the original garages (which were originally built for Olympic rowboats) and the ability to roam around the course on Saturday and watch the action from a number of spots which all seemed to eventually become restricted areas.

Yep, first time was 83. Heading up on Thursday. Section 24 on Friday and Section 11 Sat for change of viewing.

Back in 83 there were almost zero grandstands and at one point my buddy and I ended up on the circuit by the casino just as practice was starting. There was also zero security, so we hopped a chainlink fence to get into the paddock. He has some amazing slides of the whole event. 25 bucks Canadian for a 3-day pass.
