With the most expensive condo being sold in Toronto this week, ($25 million). I ask, if someone has a car collection, or just owns a bunch of exotics, ie Porsche/Ferrari's/Lamborghini's, where do they keep their cars?

I'm being serious.....If someone owns a huge penthouse downtown, where can he keep his cars so he can drive them whenever he wants? I"m sure you can't keep 10 Ferrari's downstairs in the parking garage.

Not sure why you can't understand it. It's the simple rule of money can buy anything. You think a guy/girl who's smart enough to have made a fortune to afford these cars is going to wonder where to put them? I mean, if they have that kinda money then I am sure they will have a proper storage facility, or another home with more room etc. It's not rocket science. Besides, maybe they can reserve/buy/rent a number of spots in an underground....Seinfeld did it in Manhatten for his Porsche collection!

Vasco is correct, we have acquaintences that live on Post Road and Bayview in those condos, i do believe they are in the 5M range....they do come standard with concearige(sp?) and have 2 and 3 car parking underground. You can purchase more, i dont knwo the price of it, but they do have the spots available in those buildings. Also, a large majority of those people that own condons like those, do have more than one home. Most of them are international. Different world for what i have heard.

I don't know why you took my post as a joke but your question reminds of this...

I wonder where he parks this...http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21758940/

With such money you really think room is a problem?

Has anybody seen the fellows place up in Bolton? It is gated and kinda looks like a horse farm with a huge home with wings on either side of the house. Turns out the house is actually a garage. Just a place to store all his cars? Fools everybody as it looks like a gaint house but really is a garage>

    Where in Bolton is it?

If you wanna see some crazy homes, (not in Kleinburg this time....:D) Take a drive to Weston Rd, north of Teston rd, on the East side.
There is a street which has the biggest homes I've seen north of the city. I'm talking 20,000 sq ft with 10 car garages....one house even has a soccer field, pool and tennis court !!

And across the street, there is another court with a mansion that has a private go-kart track in the backyard!

I think you mean Caledon or just outside of Bolton. We have decent size houses but nothing huge really. Go up some small streets around here man WOW the houses are insane in this area.

bah !! give me half the house and double the price to stay in Forest hill anyday, or rosedale...really anything south of Steeles. I have no idea how people live North of there. The morning and evening is a mess if you have to travel even the 407...the 404 and the 400 are parking lots....and using Yonge, or Bathurst, or Dufferin is just as bad with al the lights. Living up north only makes sense if you work up north. I couldnt take those drives personally.
PS...Have you guys seen the new stats out ? Apparently it has been recorded that the average working person spends 4years of there total life span in traffic...to communte to work........Ouch !

Sad but true. My brother also lived in Richmond Hill then Thornhill. He couldnt believe the time he'd be on the road just to get to his law office downtown (Yorkville at the time). Being the big reader that he is, he'd even buy books-on-tape just to keep him entertained lol. It's sick.

Like Rick said, only if you work up there. Me, I wouldnt live anywhere north of Eglinton even if it was for free ;) :D:D:D

Does anyone know where I can find specs for older cars??? I am looking for the braking distance of the Ferrari's, Lambo's and Porsche's from 1987.
