Vasco, you do make a good point, however, a 348 and 512TR is also an early 90's car, both have FAR superior interior IMHO. The exterior is nice, however, the wheels could certainly use MAJOR improvement.. Just my $.02 though.

They were never going to make 220 of them, the 220 in the name refers to the projected top speed, just as it did to some earlier Jags. No XJ220 has ever been clocked at 220mph anywhere, and if someone claims that they saw it on the speedo that would hardly count.

Don't worry about them James..We'll go out cruzin for a night in a big bragade of Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porches...Lancia's and have the XJ220 lead the pack...We'll see which car gets the attention, and which one will win the race..either way..the Jag for its pure exotic rareity will win the day. There are only 2 in Canada that I know of..and one is in Oakville..Everybody else and there grandmother has a 360..leave the real exotic's to the men!!

SOme of you guys kill me. This is the ugliest of ugliest cars to ever be produced as an exotic. I dont care how fast the little 6 is, or how unique the car is. Its uglier than Joan Rivers on a good day. The only reason why most of you guys like this thing is because of its rarity, and possibly the badging. If you took the badges off, and spun it on a turntable you guys would not be saying its beautiful. The design at best is above average, if it was this fantastic car it would have sold off the presses when it came out...just like the Saleen7, New little lotus, the new Zonda, even the buggatti with 1001 hp that just came out. THis car sat like an old lady in a rocking chair. Sorry boys, Ill take a 308QV any day...and pocket the rest of the coin.

It did cross my mind at one point, but the 355 is what brought me to the Ferrari world, and It's how I want to be known here...regardless of how much I love the 550. Besides, now that the last "cool" name was taken by Anu (right, DJ ?) why even bother....

Rick, It's ok if you don't like the design. But truthfully, i love the design. I Hate modern day jaguars, the XJ220 is the only Pre 70's Jaguar i like... I really like the design. It doesn't mean you have to like it...
