360 Canadian spec 360 in the US?

    Hello friends,

    I think the time has come for me to potentially pull the trigger on a 360 Spider. It's a very nice driver, gated, the color/spec I want (and I'm extremely picky), MY2002, etc. and I know the seller well.

    The only thing I'm concerned about is that the car was originally a Canadian car. How does that typically impact value?

    Also, it has a Pioneer radio. I'm a bit of a purist, so I'd probably want to find a factory radio and re-install it. Anyone happen to know the all-in costs to do so?

    I can't comment on resale value, but the radio is an easy one assuming a reputable shop installed it and it wasn't part of a larger system with amps, etc. Should just be unplug the old radio and plug in the new one.

    honestly i wouldn't care what the cost was (and i'm not rich, lol). If the car is your spec and you say you're picky and it's a nicely sorted car buy it. ESPECIALLY IF ITS A MANUAL. Gosh....Radio swap should be no issues, and stock radios are for sale everywhere so sourcing one won't be hard. Go get it....join the gated club.....

    In the past it was known that For Sale ads would emphasize 'Canadian Car' to show that it was only driven about 6 month/year vs all year around. Meaning less wear and tear vs a car driven all year round. US and Canadian Fcars have similar specs and since the Canadian market is so small it didn't make sense to have a different production line in Maranello. So, my opinion is that I can't see the Canadian cars having less value than it's American counterpart. Subtle differences might be the bumpers (5mph vs 3 (US)), some French vs English on the gas cap, Km vs Mi on the Speedo etc.
