    Hi, I'm not an owner and joined for technical support with, of all marques, a Volvo (it was a fuel injection thing; and this forum was a great help).

    But the car's gone and it's time to move on.

    Mods, please: how do I delete my account?

    We don't delete or cancel accounts. You simply stop logging in. If you need to stop the newsletter, go to your account control panel and disable "Receive email from administrators". This is explained at the bottom of the monthly emails that are sent out.

    Don't think that's totally true, as Rob has mentioned somewhere in a subscribed thread that a (VERY small) number of users have had their accounts deleted. Surely not a typical occurrence though...

    Other than VERY rare cases (like, national security, or some ugly divorce,) I can't even imagine why someone would want to delete their account. Isn't that like saying - "I'll never be curious about, or have a question concerning Ferraris again in my lifetime."??

    Why yes, yes that is the case.

    so a delete would be appreciated. But since that isn’t done (for some absolutely useless unjustifiable reason)) i’ll just change the email and any other personal info.
