    EDIT:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, this event has been cancelled.

I want to thank Scott Black and the management at Lineback for working with us planning this event, and I apologize to anyone inconvenienced by this change.

There are still 30+ FCA events on the calendar, check the chapter site for more details!

Looked on Linebacks website, didn't see anything... any updates?

Edit: specifically, do we need to buy a ticket in advance or something? Since it is a charity event, I'm guessing there's a cover charge...

    Greetings.

I just got off the phone with Scott Black, and here's the scoop.

First, the original date ended up conflicting with another event for the Lineback organization, so they've moved the date to Feb. 26, 2005. The FCA had a fine dining event set on that date, we will try to find another time for it.

The event is being held at Lineback. They're clearing out the showroom and bringing in gaming tables. There will be a $25/person contribution for participating. The charity looks like it's going to be Hunger Busters, an organization committed to feeding the city's homeless, specifically those who do not have access to existing services.

Everyone will receive playing chips, and at the end of the night the leading players will win prizes.

The doors open around 5:00 PM, and gaming begins around 6:30. Naturally, food and beverages will be provided. Dress code is "as formal as you choose"

If you have further questions contact me, and I'll try to get them answered.

    Thanks
    Tillman
