A friend of mine is selling his vending business. PM me if you are interested. Here is the info he gave me. If this post is not OK, Mods delete away!...

Due to recent medical issues and added expenses, I've sold several of my personal investments. I've now need to sale a Candy Machine Route I just got established in the North Dallas/McKinney area (Along Hwy 75 corridor). The sale price for all 27 machines and locations will be $9,500. These are currently bringing in approx. 25% annual return on investment but has potential to yield up to 68% annual return with a little time invested. Details are as follows:

    1) 27 machines that hold 220 individual small bite size candy bars (Snickers, Hershey's, Reeses, etc..)
    2) 80% profit ($.20 profit per $.25 collected)
    3) All cash business which has its own advantages.
    4) Currently bringing in about $250 per month on 20 machines (7 machines are currently not in a location). $250 x 80% = $200 monthly profit x 12 months = $2,400 profit per year. If $9,500 was invested to purchase machines, $2,400 yields an annual return of ~25% on your investment.
    5) If a little time was spent on changing out some of the current locations resulting in more restaurants, the monthly income should result as follows: $25 monthly per machine x 27 machines = $675 monthly x 80% = $540 monthly profit x 12 months = $6,480 profit per year. If $13,500 was invested to purchase machines, $6,480 would yield an annual return of ~68% on your investment.
    6) I spend 1 day every 4-6 weeks to collect the money and back fill the machines as needed.

Do you have a business that could use some extra advertising? THESE CANDY MACHINE LOCATIONS PROVIDE PLACES OF FREE ADVERTISEMENT WHILE ALSO MAKING MONEY. BUSINESS CARDS AND FLYERS FOR YOUR BUSINESS CAN BE LEFT AT EACH LOCATION EVERYTIME THEY ARE SERVICED.

The only reason I'm selling these is because I have too many irons in the fire so to speak and need to better focus my attention and money on my primary job and family in light of my recent medical situation. Also, the money invested in these machines needs to be used elsewhere at this point.

Always wondered about those. Do they have a contract with the location? Does the location owner get a piece? (of the profit, not a piece of candy.)
