"Perfect" is a relative expression that is randomly tossed around.

    No it is not perfect.

But any GTO represents an interesting proposition that someone would not mind owning. I'm only speaking to the commentary about a "perfect" car by multiple parties posting here. Use that expression with caution... No I am not slighting the car in anyway, just observing. I have no affiliation with this car nor its current connections. But I should point out that even the most casual observer who does not know their 288 GTOs back-to-front can see its been modified and a few small ways, and at least one prominent item is missing. So it cannot be perfect.

As for C's mention of Caveat Emptor, I don't even know this one's history personally such that I can disclose anything. My comments are based solely on its physical presence using very average images. A physical inspection would tell me more. Knowing its entire history would complete the picture.

Can We play Guess The Missing Prominent Item....

    Let me go Study Now!..

I was reffering to perfect in the sense that it truly was Enzo's finest hour...B4 the F 40 that is!
Not to mention Pininfarinas hour Too!
Few cars are truly breathtaking from all angles....This is one of them

Never seen the US side marker on a GTO. It's not pretty.

Fully understand your position as you have now revised it.

It was your comment of "Beyond Perfection...OMG" that got my attention.

It was built in early 84 or it is a 1984 model?

    Not necessarily.

All 288 GTOs were affixed with door-mounted speakers with a small yellow "GTO" badge, and a few of them were in fact delivered with radios already installed by the factory.

The suspension has been adjusted so the car sits lower.

Side-marker reflectors on all 4 corners, suspension adjusted from original setting, horn-button bezel missing, etc.

I hate to give an incomplete list purely based on images without viewing the car, and I can see a few more minor things. All of these items can be rectified, but remember they were only pointed out in the first place because of yours and HMS' comments about perfection.

If you read the ad it says...
" additional comforts could be specified by way of a luxury package that included air-conditioning, electric windows and a stereo cassette player."

Not sure if that is correct or not, but that was what I was basing my missing radio guess on.
Again are you sying it is a 1984 model or build?

Built in 1984 if my records are correct.
