ferrari's have 100's of events or Cannon Beach. I believe the Porsche's go a month later but I've never gone on that trip.
same weekend as: May 1-3 Infineon, Napa Valley CA F430 Challenge / Shell Historics Should be much better weather. Have been in the past (used to live down there) and had a very good time. Two years ago, it was the F-challenge AND FXX (eleven of twenty). Great to see the cars and meet many of the FXX drivers/owners. Each owner has his/her own pitcrew of italian -official ferrari techs. Now Melinda wants an FXX - actually, she just wants the Ferrari pit crew. Anyway, just another option if it rains (AGAIN) in Cannon Beach - albeit more travel time. Plan on going this year depending on work schedule. mbrown
August or Sept would be nice, but May can still be fun in a Ferrari, see you there ... just don't mention to Roy that it is the Cinco de Mayo tequila party!
Hey so glad you joined the F club. We have fun events each year and I cannot wait to see that bad boy blue scud!!!! Simply Gorgeous!!!!
Hehehe - you met her last year, Michael (at McDonalds)! She drove the Maserati while I drove the F40. We dropped off the Maser (with a passenger) at her parents' place in Vancouver, then we jumped in the F40 to meet up with Sonny's group.
I told myself I was going to change things up this year and concentrate on more local events. Next year I should be there.
Has anyone heard anything about a Friday get together like usual? I haven't seen a thing....want to know so I know what time to change dinner reservations to.
Could it have anything to do with wearing purple and zebra? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150130 , I'm just joking with you and Mr Flamingo.
HAH! That was a couple of years ago. . You are welcome to borrow that Pimp outfit any time Scott. I even have the big $ Gold Chain to go with it. BUT, since Robert has a Lambo now I may have to will the outfit to him.
Too bad really............................the high point of the weekend, for drivers and riders alike. Charity contributions were higher too.
Rides will be given but on Sunday morning with pre-registered drivers thru Steve Wintermantel. The rides were great but a little out of control in the past.
Don't remember the name of the tunnel just south of CB, but that was one of the best parts...........blasting back and forth through it and seeing the look on the passengers faces.........like a kid on a carnival ride. Mike I was in "complete" control.
