I am thinking of putting together some NICE event clothing for the Cannon Beach event. The clothing would have the event, location and date and a Ferrari related graphic. I would love to hear from people going what there interest would be before I do it. Cost for T-Shirts would be around $25.00. Trust me they would be cool!

    Thanks.

    Nice idea.

Please contact Aeroengineman (Dave Tegeler) on this site. He is the Cannon Beach Committee Chairman. The Committee is responsible for organizing the event.

The club has an excellent resource for customized clothing; Gary Reed specializes in this sort of apparel and has a direct line to specialty manufacturers and personalized embroidery services.

Rather than spend $25 for a T-shirt, I'd think a proper Polo shirt or sleeved shirt wouldn't be far away in price. Then again, doing this with only two-three weeks to the event might be a bit difficult.

Scott- Thanks for the referral, but as you mentioned, the event is only about three weeks away.

I'm the NW sales rep for a large clothing manufacturer in New York. They have really nice stuff at great prices, but there's just not enough time to do a screenprinted or embroidered graphic and get it to Oregon in time.

If anyone needs custom decorated apparel at factory wholesale prices for their business, retail store, etc.. just send me a PM and I'll be happy to provide quotes.

PS: I personally feel that if any clothing is going to be sold with "Ferrari Cannon Beach" types of logos on it, all of the profits should go to CHARITY. The Friend's of Haystack Rock is the designated CB charity this year.

I am working on the clothing to commemorate the event. It is a good idea to donate to charity. The problem is that I am guessing on quantity-my company may lose money on the deal if I don't sell them out. Perhaps we can add an additional cost to the shirt that is optional if people want to make donations. Say with each purchase a person could opt to add an additional $1.00, $5.00, etc. as a donation. Would be happy to take more suggestions.

    Thanks.

Before you start doing anything, you should talk to the Club's Cannon Beach event planning committee.
