Some '77 GTBs were fiberglass but very few. It is most likely steel. This car would have originally had carbs. The price seems okay for a clean '77 GTB with a story.

Get Brock Yates' book 'Cannonball' - this car may have competed, but only two Ferraris ever won the Cannonball Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophey Dash: a blue/black Daytona, and a white Dino 246. A 308 may have ran in the last running, this does not make the car 'famous' unless it was used in Hal Needham's movie of the same title (Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin drove a RED one).

    It just says "ran"......IIRC there was a 308, but I recall a GTS..not sure..

The VINs of the glass cars are all on here.......Dr. Barry posted them once.

As noted there were some 1976 steels, and some early 1977 glass cars..they made both for awhile..there are telltale construction differences that can be seen if you know what to look for..

(A pillar seams at the roof, flat rear deck at license plate.....when in doubt take a magnet...LOL!)

Also yes on carbs, in fact the 1977 (steel) were the last USA cars legal NON CAT......

That's a fair price if a good car.........
