I got the 20D today, now I can take better pics of my cars. Any tips on wide angle lens or all around best lens for this camera (zoom+wide angle) will be appriciated.
is money an object on the lens? The Canon L lens (I think its 17-55 or 17-85, could be wrong, but its the "L" one that costs around $1k) is very good. Remember the camera has a 1.6 mag factor so its not like a traditional 17-55. Apparently Sigma has a very nice lens for around $300 that compares favorably to the Canon L. Check the Canon lens forum on dpreview.com for more info. There are multiple part numbers that are very similar, so you need to be sure you get the new one in the Sigma lens which is the good one. The previous model (same name, almost same model #) is good, but not nearly AS good. What sort of shots do you normally do?
