Geez, and to think, real tools go for about $3500. You can have these stunning FAKE TOOLS for less than half price. What is the world coming to? DM
Come on Dave.... I put this one together for less than $400.... Pietro 71 Dino GT Image Unavailable, Please Login
according to the seller, the tools are original and not repro's. all of this seller's feedback is for small items. he recently started selling a service to find stuff for $20. now he has all the hard to find stuff at low prices? something doesn't sound right. why would he sell 4 toolkits for $1299 when one just sold for $3500?
one further note, all of his pictures from the various auctions are different. most of them use photos that have been seen before and are not his.
I don't get it. They look good, he's sold a bunch of stuff on Ebay, has good feedback, but he's less than 1/2 price?? He'll take paypal, too. I think I'll ask him a couple of questions, and let you all know. Dave
dave, i did ask questions. he responded back saying that they were original ferrari. look at his feedback. most of the stuff is $10 items that build his feedback, with the exception of some old star wars figures. my question is this, if he has access to all of this old stuff, why isn't he selling it at market? keep in mind, he also has a din jack and pouch (with different pictures of different jacks taken by different people) for $2k. there is something wrong here.
he also describe sthe item as including leather, belt and tools. what is leather? anyone who has seen these knows the pouch is vinyl. he has to be talking about the pouch.

I am very suspicious, otherwise I would have purchased one or more. Just trying to sort out another Italian dilemna on fake "original" steering wheels. Love to see what the buyers get. Doubt they got what they paid for. Watch the feedback!
I just bought 2 NOS side indicator lights for my 206 from him...I'll let you know when the hopefully arrive...Gregg Blue http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-206-246-dino-fender-side-markers-indicators_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34207QQitemZ4630338145QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
Just saw that myself, with an indication that"if these were NOS they would cost $2800" or some such language. Did he tell you these were NOS, or old stock, or replicas, or what? I'm really confused now. DM
Here's the answer, straight from the horse's mouth. I asked, "Hello. Your listing has me confused. Are these NEW tools or OLD tools? Are the Sircodin wrenches and the proper pliers? " He replied: "These are the best available at the moment, tools are from ferrari pouch is very good remake" So, new tools, repro pouch, lots o' money for fakey-doo stuff. "tools are from ferrari" "pouch is very good remake" Okey dokey then. Moving on... DM
Nope, relisted higher price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FERRARI-206-246-DINO-TOOLKIT_W0QQitemZ8057032738QQcategoryZ6763QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
interesting, he responded to me that they were ferrari. needless to say, it will be interesting to see the feedback left.
The strange thing about the guy that asked all the questions about the dino toolkit and has written alot of bad stuff about it.Ended up buying it. In Italy we say: Chi disprezza Compra. I believe this is one of the exact sayings for this article meaning in English "Who critise, Buys" I am selling dino toolkits and its made out of vynil not leather. They are arriving from my magazineand have ferrari tools in them,I have also 330 gt toolkit,365 gobbone toolkits sitting in front of me and I do not know why I wrote leather on add, maybe I was in a rush like usual. well who ever bought them ,they will be very very pleased. but after all the bad publicity the guy on this thread done I conclude to say: 1) Either he is a fool for buying one going against his own ideas. 2) Or his smart and wants to resell it for a higher price, not saying he bought it from la scuderia rossa. If you want proof he bought it from me just click on ebay auction number:8056443298 he bought it with name roxy2120_0
Pietro yours looks good for $400 but its good for a fiat, not for ferrari and I would never sell one of these to my clients.
Great to have you here. Now that you've found us, maybe we can break through the language barrier and clear this all up once and for all. Are these new old stock Sircodin wrenches, or new Ferrari labeled wrenches? Are they in new or original old vinyl tool bags? Are the rest of the tools recent manufacture, or originally from the 60's? I think that's really the question we all are having a hard time understanding. Are your tools new, manufactured in the last few years, or late 1960's early 1970's stock that would have been put in the cars originally? If these are original tools, that's a great price. If they are new, then it's not. Just looking to clear all this up. And for those who might ask, No, I am not the one who bought a set of these tools. Dave M.
You sure conduct strange auctions. Had you made the buyers absolutely comfortable in what they were buying and its originality, then you might have attained over $3500.00 each as in a recent auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4628550462 Having three in a dutch auction obviously introduced yourself as your competition, keeping prices low.
I did not have 3 in a dutch auction,I was selling 3 in a fixed price auction.I want to be clear as I can. All ferrari tools even vintage ones can be bought around in old markets selling vintage Italian car items.Thats where I bought some of them years years years back, The other tools like the belt where bought recently from ferrari and so some other tools.Remember that belts are no good even with age,you can't afford to place a belt on your ferrari that is more than 20 years old and stuff something major up! The pouch is remade a few years back was bought from ferrari parts dealer and he has sold heaps world wide with no complaints.I bet someone has got them in their car and thinks that they are the real thing. If I was dishonest I could of sold them for the real thing,I've been told by my business partner that these toolkits could go for $3000 no problem and would sell with no complaints. I have many vintage parts available: for example someone asked for a daytona windshield gasket-no one worldwide has one-I do. I have the last source of new original 308 orange tail lights worldwide,I can get f40 parts that no one has NOS not repro.ecc.... ecc... put me to the test I love FERRARI and have my private collection before doing this business.I do not know every single part but have alot of sources and people that have NOS besides me and my partner overseas. I started getting into NOS parts years ago, firstly collecting them then selling to my partner overseas.we now buy out stocks of many Italian workshops or garages,You can't believe how many NOS are still in packets sitting in lazy peoples garages that do not care to sell them. The other day I meet up with a guy that sold me daytona everything NOS great stuff! Instead of going against me about it all ,why not request what you need ,help me with pictures and so thought and one time or another I might bump into that NOS part and you will be happy you meet me. I live in Italy and been into Ferrari since I was 15years old.My first ferrari was a daytona in Australia.I been through 13 Ferraris so far and do not plan to stop either. My objective is to find any rare part you need.Soon you will hear from all people that have recently done business with me.In a month or 2 we will then see just remember since some items are NOS time is needed,I prefer to sell NOS than sell reproduction items,I know what collecting is about and was offered to judge in many Ferrari Concours, obviously I do not know all but I still have years to invest my time in my 2nd favorite hobby: Ferraris I hope you are all happier now that we talked.Another recent example: people have been asking for original ferrari seatbelts,I just found originals not even was looking for them, someone that I bumped into offered me them knowing I sell Ferrari Nos.That is the great thing about speaking English in Italy, being into Ferraris and knowing everyone into Ferraris. Take Care Everyone and FORZA FERRARI!!!!
