Little problematic with my F430 2006, I recently changed my Optima red top battery for the right Interstate MTZ-34R battery after getting multiple codes such as P1602,P1611, B1005, B100A, U1706. My Launch X431 will clear the codes but they will reappear on the next start. I'm started thinking that the clear DTC feature in the X431 doesn't clear the memory or that the health scan option is creating codes because it might interrupt signals (U1706). The car is running perfectly fine, with no issues whatsoever.

Has anyone had the same issue?

Which ones are staying / reappearing ?

If you don't do a full scan and just go into each modules and clear and re-read code - that should help

When I scan with my x431 I get some canbus errors and a few other benign codes, but other than that, nothing unless something is wrong.

If the "P" codes reappear, i would check battery or fully charge battery ( theory here is the new battery maybe was sitting long on shelf and needs to be fully charged )

The battery is brand new, manufacture date is June 24. It would do that even right after removing the charger.

I understand your point .. but it doesn't mean it isn't defective .. check voltage at battery terminals after being off charger for 12 - 24 hours, check while running, check while cranking - report back
Also check voltage behind seat near ECU's
Check connections .. maybe not tight
If these lights weren't on before the old battery went south then it is the new battery or a connection that is causing it
